| 10/29 - TKE Blood Drive a Success!
Once again Tau Kappa Epsilon hosted one of the locations for the annual CAA Blood Drive Challenge on October 29th. Drexel has won this blood drive challenge for the past three years and is eyeing its fourth victory. Students from all over campus came to the TKE house to donate. The TKE house is a prime location because it is located on the edge of campus and attracts many students involved in Greek Life and students that do not live in the center of our campus.
The blood drive lasted all day and we were able to get 82 units of blood at the TKE house alone. This does not include any other locations which beat our previous records. Hopefully this is enough units combined with the other locations on campus to get Drexel its fourth CAA Blood Drive Challenge win.

The Brothers of Tau Kappa Epsilon Help Out at CanDU Event

The Community Alumni Network at Drexel University (CAN DU), an outreach program of the Drexel University Alumni Association, supports alumni, students, faculty, and staff in making a difference in our community. Recently the brothers of Tau Kappa Epsilon attended there community service event at the Morton McMichael Elementary School in West Philadelphia. The brothers joined other Drexel volunteers to help revitalize and transform the school’s teacher’s garden, pre-k and kindergarten playground, and library. This was a great event because the brothers were able to directly help out the community. When the brothers arrived, the school was looking in bad shape but by the end of the day they were able to really change the image of this school in a positive way.
